West Coast Swing is a modern social dance that came from Lindy hop and is always evolving as popular music changes. This dance prioritizes connection with your partner, musicality and improvisation. The West Coast Swing community is worldwide and dances and events can be found in most major cities and beyond. Come learn some fundamentals of West Coast Swing starting with the first class of the series, “Pushes & Passes”, which will cover two of the most basic types of patterns in this dance.
