Be a part of the joyful queer dance community as we learn the fundamentals of Argentine Tango!

Queer Dance Roanoke is excited to partner with Dance with Lane to grow Queer Tango in Roanoke. You do not need a partner to participate; we will all dance and learn together!

Schedule:

Every other Wednesday starting June 12th (6/12, 6/26, 7/10, 7/24, 8/7, 8/21) 6:00 -7:00 PM @ Ursula’s Cafe (Come early to enjoy snacks from our favorite pay-what-you-can cafe in downtown Roanoke). $72 early registration (total 6 classes) / $15 drop-in (single class). Register here. You are encouraged to attend the full series but each class stands alone so drop in’s are always welcome!

More about Queer Dance Roanoke (formerly Kaleidoscope Dance): We are an LGBTQ+-centered dance community providing dance instruction and events based in Roanoke, VA. We believe that everyone has the right to know and feel the joy of social partner dance and to do so in the fullest expression of who they are as a whole person. We queer dance by removing archaic rules about who gets to lead/follow based on their gender and see dance as a liberatory practice, providing embodied insight into our own relationships and healing.
