Once a month, we gather to dance and socialize; a social dance! It's a relaxed, friendly afternoon where all levels of dancers are welcome to come and enjoy. We begin with an hour of instruction to get you moving, and then we dance to a playlist full of current and classic tunes. A safe and welcoming space is a priority, so please read the code of conduct before attending. We alternate between Blacksburg and Roanoke, so make sure you check the location!

The location is Elarth Hall at the UU church at 1301 Gladewood Drive, Blacksburg, VA 24060. This lovely, open space with hardwood floors is perfect for dancing! We dance from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning with an hour-long, beginner West Coast Swing lesson. The lesson is perfect for your first introduction to West Coast Swing but as we always have an excellent mix of beginner and experienced dancers, we try to have something for everyone!. The playlist is West Coast Swing heavy with some Latin, Ballroom, and country styles mixed in. The cost to attend is $10 ($5 for Full-Time students). Registering is suggested by the Saturday before by contacting me, as details are subject to change.
